I’m passionate about helping other women on their journey through menopause not only look better, but feel great too! We’ve been told extreme measures are the only way, but I’m here to tell you there is a much better way that also sets you up for aging well in the future!
Fitness and nutrition has always been a big part of my life from my early teens on. In fact, I earned two degrees in exercise physiology and lived the lifestyle for years! I stayed lean and toned doing what I love - working out and eating healthy. I, honestly, didn’t give menopause a second thought going in because I was so “healthy”. Imagine my surprise when I turned 50 and gained 15 lbs, started having aches and pains all over, my sleep suffered, my stress was through the roof and I had no energy! All of that fueled my search for answers and my desire to help other women tackle this transition from their reproductive years through menopause. There are so many things I wish I had known and understood that I am now passionate about teaching other women. It is possible to lose unwanted menopausal weight gain and feel better again!
My favorite thing is to get out and enjoy our beautiful home state of Colorado! Whether it’s camping, hiking or just sitting on the deck with friends and margaritas, I love being outside. We’re so blessed to live in such a beautiful place!
We have 3 grown and flown kids and 1 beautiful daughter-in-law. We love our weekly Zoom calls with our oldest son and his wife from their home in Norway, visiting our middle son living his dream in a mountain town in Colorado and welcoming our daughter home from college on breaks! Our child-rearing years somehow flew by and we’re now enjoying these 3 fabulous young adults!
One of our favorite daily routines is getting outside for walks or playtime with our AussieDoodle, Milo. Now that we’re empty nesters, our dog has become the center of attention! That happen to anyone else?!
